MJ started to play guitar after his wife said that he needed a hobby so he stop bothering her all day. A Seattle Metro bus driver by day and a guitar man at night, MJ has been playing guitar in the Northwest music scene with various bands since the mid 90's.His music influences includes anything that has a string and vibrates; blues, R&B, jazz, bluegrass to name a few. MJs guitar virtuosity helps to really hold the rhythm section of the band together and his lead guitar playing shows his influences of blues and jazz.

Being the fashion afficiato that MJ is, he is never seen without his trademark flannel shirt, jeans and Converse Chuck Taylor high tops (He has a color for every day of the week).
